I am a software engineering researcher with 5+ years of industrial experience in banking payment systems and fintech infrastructure. My research centers on automated software quality assurance, LLM-augmented software engineering, and reliability validation of large-scale financial systems, with extensive field validation in ISO 20022 migration and batch payment testing scenarios.
Three core strands:
1. Automated testing and quality assurance for large-scale enterprise payment systems, with particular emphasis on batch processing scenarios and ISO 20022 standard migration validation
2. LLM-augmented software engineering pipelines, including automated requirements analysis, user story generation, end-to-end test case synthesis, and defect identification
3. Industrial-scale SE method validation, bridging academic methodologies with real-world banking system constraints and compliance requirements

I am now pursuing a PhD to develop more rigorous, efficient, and reliable software engineering practices for critical enterprise systems.

Research Projects:

- A Configurable Fault-Tolerant Automated Testing Framework for Large-Scale Payment Systems
Sep 2025 – Jan 2026 | Project Lead & Core Designer
Problem Statement
Conventional end-to-end payment testing in banking relies on manual transaction initiation. In production-like scenario testing, this creates three critical bottlenecks: limited manual throughput, mandatory full re-runs after batch tool failures, and high cross-subsystem verification costs — all failing to meet batch validation requirements for ISO 20022 migration.
Methodology
Proposed and implemented a three-tier automated testing framework:
• Multi-dimensional parametric scheduler: flexible configuration of transaction volume, transmission rate, and target nodes
• Log-aware fault-tolerant resumption: non-intrusive runtime state tracking with automatic breakpoint recovery, no full re-execution required
• Hierarchical verification engine: three-level automated validation covering execution status, business logic consistency, and anomaly severity grading
Results
Supports fully automated submission and verification of 10,000+ payment transactions per batch
Reduces abnormal interruption recovery time by over 90%
Cuts end-to-end testing labor input by 70%
Deployed in a national banking regulatory compliance testing program

- BA Agent: An LLM-Powered Assistant for Software Requirements Analysis and User Story Generation
Mar 2026 – Present | Project Lead
Problem Statement
Requirements engineering for banking software is highly dependent on the domain expertise of senior business analysts (BAs), resulting in inconsistent output quality from junior staff and low efficiency in manual end-to-end translation from business requirements to development artifacts and test cases.
Methodology
Designed and developed a domain-specific intelligent requirements analysis agent for banking software scenarios. Built on VS Code with GitHub Copilot Chat integration, the agent encodes institutional banking payment knowledge and process standards, and automatically transforms natural-language business requirements into standardized, enterprise-compliant user stories.
Results
Generated user stories fully align with internal enterprise BA governance and specification standards
Delivers material efficiency gains in the conversion from requirement documents to development deliverables
Ongoing extension to full-lifecycle coverage, including automated test case generation and automated defect triage

- LLM-Assisted Automated Trading Strategy Development for Hang Seng Index Aug 2024 – Nov 2024 | Independent Project (Individual Competition Entry)
Problem Statement
Developed for the 2024 HSBC Code Cup, a company-wide programming competition focused on generative AI-driven business innovation. The challenge prioritized the ability to rapidly apply AI tools to solve complex domain problems, with no mandatory requirement for advanced programming background.
Methodology
Leveraged large language models to deliver the end-to-end workflow from trading strategy design to production-ready code implementation. Integrated with the competition’s virtual market API to build an automated Hang Seng Index trading system, encompassing market data ingestion, trading signal detection, and order execution modules.
Results
Advanced to the Top 12 finalists across all company-wide participating teams
Empirically validated the feasibility of rapidly building functional engineering systems via AI assistance, even without deep native programming expertise
